Does the job...very well
This shirt does a great job flattening the unflattering little bulges that come with middle age. My gut and love handles are not bad, but bad enough that my dress shirts used to bulge a bit. Well no more.
Because of the close fit, dress shirts that have texture lay better as well. This was a problem for me with typical cotton Ts because of the friction between the Ts and the dress shirts. Because this T fits so close, it doesn't catch the dress shirt further enhancing the smoothness of my overall appearance.
Because this shirt runs a bit small, I do STRONGLY suggest that if your chest size is not specifically listed that you go up in size. Trust me on this. I should have gone up. The control these shirts provide also makes it serious work to get into if you get them too small.
And once you take it out of the box, you cannot return it. So heed my advice on sizing.
